Hey all!
This is the first five rounds of a June 20th Mock. As I've said before, the first few rounds of every redraft team will make or break that team's season. You won't ever win because of your first five, but you can lose because of it. Here's a mock with some commentary to help guide you.

Round 1
(1) Michael - Adrian Peterson (Min - RB)
(2) Daniel - Eddie Lacy (GB - RB)
(3) kenny - Marshawn Lynch (Sea - RB)
(4) Noah - Jamaal Charles (KC - RB)
(5) Joe Figs - Le'Veon Bell (Pit - RB)
(6) Eric - Antonio Brown (Pit - WR)
(7) Dennis - DeMarco Murray (Phi - RB)
(8) Hobbits In Helmets - Matt Forte (Chi - RB)
(9) Nate - Rob Gronkowski (NE - TE)
(10) Henry - Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG - WR)

(6) Eric - Antonio Brown (Pit - WR)
(7) Dennis - DeMarco Murray (Phi - RB)
(8) Hobbits In Helmets - Matt Forte (Chi - RB)
(9) Nate - Rob Gronkowski (NE - TE)
(10) Henry - Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG - WR)
NOTES: I
had the 4th overall in this one – very excited to get Charles there.
The KC offense runs through him. Considered taking Le’Veon Bell – the suspension
shouldn’t put you off. He’s going to produce. This is still a little high for
me regarding Gronk, considering Brady is still suspended 4 games. I feel like
you can stream TEs this year. Also, pull out your pitchforks because I think
this is too high for Odell Beckham Jr.. Yes, he’s a freak of nature and a great
asset. But Eli’s got so many hands to feed on the NYG roster that I think a
regression is coming.
Round 2
(1) Henry - Arian Foster (Hou - RB)
(2) Nate - Dez Bryant (Dal - WR)
(3) Hobbits In Helmets - Calvin Johnson (Det - WR)
(4) Dennis - Demaryius Thomas (Den - WR)
(5) Eric - Julio Jones (Atl - WR)
(6) Joe Figs - LeSean McCoy (Buf - RB)
(7) Noah - C.J. Anderson (Den - RB)
(8) kenny - Jordy Nelson (GB - WR)
(9) Daniel - Andrew Luck (Ind - QB)
(10) Michael - Aaron Rodgers (GB - QB)
Round 2
(1) Henry - Arian Foster (Hou - RB)
(2) Nate - Dez Bryant (Dal - WR)
(3) Hobbits In Helmets - Calvin Johnson (Det - WR)
(4) Dennis - Demaryius Thomas (Den - WR)
(5) Eric - Julio Jones (Atl - WR)
(6) Joe Figs - LeSean McCoy (Buf - RB)
(7) Noah - C.J. Anderson (Den - RB)
(8) kenny - Jordy Nelson (GB - WR)
(9) Daniel - Andrew Luck (Ind - QB)
(10) Michael - Aaron Rodgers (GB - QB)
NOTES: After
Julio went off the board, I decided to hit the RB well again. CJA is going to
pick up the slack left by Peyton’s age – I’m not worried about Montee Ball or
Ronnie Hillman at all. Considered taking Rodgers (I trust him more than Luck
after Luck’s dropoff during the fantasy playoffs last season). Decided I was
going to wait on QB until I didn’t like any of the skill players better. I
prefer all of the WRs taken here over ODB, so shoot me.
Round 3
(1) Michael - Jeremy Hill (Cin - RB)
(2) Daniel - A.J. Green (Cin - WR)
(3) kenny - Alshon Jeffery (Chi - WR)
(4) Noah - Alfred Morris (Was - RB)
(5) Joe Figs - Randall Cobb (GB - WR)
(6) Eric - T.Y. Hilton (Ind - WR)
(7) Dennis - Mike Evans (TB - WR)
(8) Hobbits In Helmets - Melvin Gordon (SD - RB)
(9) Nate - Justin Forsett (Bal - RB)
(10) Henry - Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
NOTES: Went
back to RB here yet again. There are so many potential RB1s or high RB2s still
here, and the depth at WR was still incredible. Luck and Rodgers going early
bumped back some great talent to this round – Jeffery was my target but once he
was gone I decided to get even more RB depth. I think this is a good spot for
Gordon in redraft. Ingram sneaking into this round is pure insanity – Spiller
exists. Spiller will command touches. And Spiller can catch. I don’t want to be
deciding between Ingram and Spiller any given week.
Round 4
(1) Henry - DeAndre Hopkins (Hou - WR)
(2) Nate - Emmanuel Sanders (Den - WR)
(3) Hobbits In Helmets - Kelvin Benjamin (Car - WR)
(4) Dennis - Lamar Miller (Mia - RB)
(5) Eric - Jimmy Graham (Sea - TE)
(6) Joe Figs - Brandin Cooks (NO - WR)
(7) Noah - Frank Gore (Ind - RB)
(8) kenny - Russell Wilson (Sea - QB)
(9) Daniel - Latavius Murray (Oak - RB)
(10) Michael - DeSean Jackson (Was - WR)
Round 4
(1) Henry - DeAndre Hopkins (Hou - WR)
(2) Nate - Emmanuel Sanders (Den - WR)
(3) Hobbits In Helmets - Kelvin Benjamin (Car - WR)
(4) Dennis - Lamar Miller (Mia - RB)
(5) Eric - Jimmy Graham (Sea - TE)
(6) Joe Figs - Brandin Cooks (NO - WR)
(7) Noah - Frank Gore (Ind - RB)
(8) kenny - Russell Wilson (Sea - QB)
(9) Daniel - Latavius Murray (Oak - RB)
(10) Michael - DeSean Jackson (Was - WR)
NOTES: Still
great RB talent – Gore in this round I view as an absolute steal. When he was
in SF he faced 8 in the box all the time because no one trusted Kaep to get it
to WRs. He also didn’t catch passes under Harbaugh in SF, where before Harbaugh
he was one of the league’s elite passcatches. Now, not only will defenders have
to respect Luck (6 in the box) but Luck will undoubtedly throw it to Gore more
often. I thought this was too high for L. Murray, considering Helu may take
touches – Raider’s backfield is a mess and I don’t trust their front office to
recognize Murray’s talent. Cooks is a great grab here.
Round 5
(1) Michael - Julian Edelman (NE - WR)
(2) Daniel - Todd Gurley (StL - RB)
(3) kenny - Carlos Hyde (SF - RB)
(4) Noah - Jordan Matthews (Phi - WR)
(5) Joe Figs - Sammy Watkins (Buf - WR)
(6) Eric - Peyton Manning (Den - QB)
(7) Dennis - Travis Kelce (KC - TE)
(8) Hobbits In Helmets - Cam Newton (Car - QB)
(9) Nate - Drew Brees (NO - QB)
(10) Henry - Brandon Marshall (NYJ - WR)
NOTES: I finally took a position that wasn’t RB… and it was WR. Waivered between JMatt and Watkins, but decided on JMatt because I think Buffalo runs a lot more than Philly. JMatt and Agholor will get a lot of catches in Philly. You see three more QBs come off the board here… and I think you can still wait a while. I like Kelce’s potential this year.
