Week 11 Recap

Here's some recap from this weekend to keep you going.

Montee Ball’s groin re-injury, Hillman out, It's the CJ ANDERSON SHOW

Montee Ball left Sunday’s game after re-aggravating his groin injury. With Hillman now expected to be out longer than originally anticipated, this has officially become the C.J. Anderson show, featuring TD vulture Juwan Thompson. Welcome to… the Replacements.

Mike Evans exploded.

Seriously. 7 catches 209 yards and 2 TDs. Just to put that in perspective: The Redskins receivers (including WR, RB, and TE) put together only had 207 yards and 1 TD. 209 receiving yards and 2 TDs is more receiving yards and touchdowns than the entirety of the Redskins offense was able to generate. EVANS SMASH.

Rams have now defeated both of last year’s Super Bowl teams

Despite being 4-6 and 4th in the NFC West, the Rams have now beaten both teams from last year’s Super Bowl. I bet the Seahawks and Broncos are not happy about that… but hey, they’re still the Rams.

Brady throws picks, Gray explodes

Brady had a shaky start to the Pats/Colts matchup last night, but it was OK because Jonas Gray shredded the Colts run defense to the tune of 38 attempts for 199 yards and 4 touchdowns. Gray singlehandedly stopped the Pats from getting down in the game, and stopped Brady’s slide into mediocrity.

Philly Brown catches a TD – helping NO ONE

Philly Brown plays for the Carolina Panthers. Philly Brown caught a 47-yard touchdown pass Sunday. Philly Brown is owned in exactly >.1% of fantasy leagues. Because the Panthers lost the game, Philly Brown’s touchdown helped literally no one on Sunday.

JJ Watt has more receiving TDs than Chief’s receiving corps

JJ Watt – 2 receiving touchdowns this year. Chiefs receiving corps – 0 touchdowns this year. Enough said.

Josh Gordon back this week – world will go nuts

Just a friendly reminder – Josh Gordon is coming back this week… and he will be incredible. Grab him if he’s not owned (he probably is). Josh Gordon is great. Unless he happens to get in a car with Adrian Peterson and they both somehow get into a car accident/marijuana incident/domestic abuse incident.

Ben Tate Released – clarifying nothing (Part 1)

From Free Agent Gold to Free Agent Disaster, in only 11 weeks. Some of you may think this paves the way for Isaiah Crowell, some of you may think this paves the way for Terrance West. Therein lies the problem – there are still two backs in Cleveland and neither is the clear favorite. Bye Ben Tate, Hellooooo Little Rascals.

Adrian Peterson resuspended – clarifying nothing (Part 2)

Adrian Peterson was informed on Tuesday that the NFL has suspended him for the remainder of the 2014-2015 season, and that he is eligible to rejoin the Vikings in April 2015. Those of you who stashed him, feel free to drop him… but the NFLPA has appealed the suspension. So maybe he plays, maybe he doesn’t, but either way you may need the roster space more than the question. But in the end… we really know nothing.
